Welcome to Cylch Meithrin Llanbrynmair

The Cylch is registered for 14 children aged 3 until they go to school. For the 2024/25 year Powys have given permission to accept younger children (2 years and over) due to low numbers of 3 plus and the success of this since 2021/22. 

Staff Ratio is age 3 and over – 1:8

Staff Ratio 2-3 years – 1:4

The children are offered a variety of learning experiences in accordance with Powys Foundation Phase Curriculum. Learning will be through play, which will include play dough, role play corner, bikes, construction toys, art and craft and so on.  There are plenty of opportunities for listening to stories and for singing and dancing. Each session includes a break for a drink and snack. During 2024/25 we will adapt the above activities  for the younger children.
