Babylove Newbies Postnatal

By Baby Love Groups

Newbies Postnatal Group for new Mammas and their little ones.  This isn’t a class, it is a safe space to meet others with new babies and get the support you need.  Each week we will have a new topic, our feature of the week, and some weeks we will have professionals visiting to support YOU!!

Our professionals range from Physios who can check your tummies and sign post you if you need some support to re-build tummy muscles, postnatal specialists who can provide nurturing tips, post partum massage. Real nappy advisors and sling specialists who can answer all your questions. Retired midwives to answer any questions and queries you may have and birth trauma professionals who can help you if you are struggling to come to terms with your birth experience and much, much, more.

Every week there will be friendship and laughter and an opportunity to grab a lovely coffee and cake and bring it in with you.  We will have a chilled check in weekly to see how everyone is getting on, introduce some baby massage strokes to help you and baby and then have our ‘feature of the week’. This group is exclusively for little ones from newborn to 16 weeks and their Mamas/papas/carers.

attendee instructions

Each ticket entitles one adult to bring their baby/twins to the sessions, currently we generally accept one adult per child due to covid-19 safety guidelines, however please chat to us if you need to request a change and we will always try to support your needs.

Wear comfortable clothes as sessions generally require adult sitting on the floor. (chairs are available if required).

Bring a blanket to sit on and a snuggly blanket for tiny babies.

We have now returned to sharing resources, but these are heavily sanitised between sessions

To ensure we are keeping everyone safe please be mindful of the following procedures;

BEFORE EACH SESSION

Upon arrival each adult will be asked to;

·       Check in at the babylove reception desk

·       confirm they and their little ones feel well and are not displaying any of the following symptoms;

o   a high temperature: this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature, however I will ensure there is a thermometer available)

o   a new, continuous cough: this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

o   a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste: this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Most people with coronavirus have at least one of these symptoms.” (Gov.wales)

·       Place pushchairs safely and remove shoes

·       Apply hand sanitiser

Ticket information

Each ticket entitles one adult to bring their baby/twins to the sessions,  currently we can accept one adult per child due to covid-19 restrictions.*  I’d recommend wearing comfortable clothes so that you can sit on mats or chairs happily. We can only accept siblings by prior arrangement due to number allowed in the room at any one time.

(*To ensure that all needs are catered for, if you have a special request to enable you to attend our classes, please email me so I can work hard to accommodate you).
