Welcome to Ladybird Playgroup, based in Nelson, Caerphilly. We provide a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where children can play, explore, discover and grow in their own unique way.

At Ladybird Playgroup, we believe children learn best when they are given the time, space and freedom to follow their own interests and curiosity. Our approach is child-led, allowing children to make choices, investigate the world around them and develop confidence through meaningful play and exploration.

Our experienced and caring team provides a wide range of activities and experiences that support children's development, while ensuring that learning remains fun, engaging and appropriate to each child's individual needs.

We value children's natural curiosity and encourage them to become confident, independent learners. Through child-led play, exploration, imagination, creativity and discovery, children are supported to ask questions, try new things, solve problems and develop their own ideas.

Services:

We offer breakfast club, after-school club and wraparound childcare,flying start and full day care and holiday club providing families with flexible childcare around the school day.

Our wraparound provision gives children a safe, friendly place to spend time before and after school, with opportunities to relax, play, socialise and take part in enjoyable activities.

Holiday Club

Our holiday provision for children aged 3-11 years offersfun, stimulating experiences during school holidays. We provide a varied programme of activities designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, friendships and plenty of opportunities for play.

Flying Start

We support eligible families accessing Flying Start provision. Flying Start provides funded early-years support for eligible children and families, helping children get the best possible start in life.

Financial Support

We understand that childcare costs are an important consideration for families. Depending on eligibility, families may be able to access a range of Welsh Government childcare support, including:

• The Childcare Offer for Wales

• Tax-Free Childcare

• Other eligible funded childcare arrangements
