Mini Meadows Farm is a lovely children’s farm park on the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire border. Nestled in 12 acres of rolling countryside in the village of Welford, Mini Meadows Farm provides a fun, educational, and great-value family day out for adults and children alike, whatever the weather.

Come and meet our animals, explore the indoor and outdoor play areas, enjoy the delicious food and drink in our café, and take in the spectacular views. We also hold events throughout the year and cater for school and group visits, as well as birthday parties.

Meeting and Feeding the Animals

At our enchanting farm, we invite you to join us for the day of meeting and feeding our adorable animals, creating memories that will last a lifetime. 

Upon arrival, request a food bucket and then watch as the animals gather around waiting eagerly for their tasty treat. This is the highlight of their day interacting with our visitors to the farm.

Play Areas

We have four play areas for your little ones to discover. 

The Treetops

The Treetops is Mini Meadows Farm’s exciting, enchanting, and enormous wooden indoor play area. Our Facebook fans chose the design and it is a fantastic addition to the farm.

With its climbing walls and rope bridges, huge slides, tunnels, and funky lighting, it’s a huge hit with children of all ages. There’s even a separate area for toddlers, which is smaller for little legs but still just as fun. And of course, there is a seating area for the adults to sit back with a coffee while the kids run off some energy.

Outdoor Play Area

The outdoor play area is sure to keep the kids entertained. There’s a wooden fort with slides, ladders and lookouts, swings, and even a tractor to play on. We also have lots of handy picnic benches in this area, great for when the weather is on our side.

Giant Indoor Sandpit

Our giant indoor sandpit is hugely popular in all seasons. Complete with a boat, beach huts, and giant deckchair, you could spend the day here unaware we’re so far from the sea!

The Beehive Café Soft Play

Our new soft play area is open during term time from Monday - Friday and is perfect for children up to 3 years (but all are welcome). With its ball pit, building blocks, and areas to explore, toddlers are loving this new area, while you relax with friends over a hot drink and a tasty treat!

The Beehive Café

We know you’re busy. And as much as we welcome picnics at the farm, we’re also here to make life as hassle-free for you as possible. Our new Beehive Café serves a delicious menu throughout the day, from hearty breakfasts (traditional and vegetarian) to lunches, snacks, and home-baked treats.

Whatever the season, our café is the perfect setting for a catch-up with friends, and menus to please adults and kids alike. Whether you’re spending the day at the farm, stopping en-route, passing by on your bike, or out walking, the Beehive is the perfect place to take a break, soak up the views, and fill up your water bottle with our compliments.
