AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Cylch Meithrin Brynglas aims to provide quality Welsh medium care, education and Flying Start, giving an opportunity to young children to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially through various forms of play and through the medium of the Welsh language.

We are open Monday - Friday 8:30am -11:00am for children 2-3 years & 11.30am – 3.00pm for children aged 3-4. We are based in the building to the left of Ysgol Bro Teyrnon.

Staff work to a ratio of 1:4 for 2 year olds and 1:8 for 3 years and over. We offer wrap around care for those children attending Ysgol Bro Teyrnon Meithrin. We are an equal opportunities group. All children are welcome in the Cylch, regardless of colour, race, social class, family circumstances or educational needs. All children will be encouraged to try all activities regardless of gender. 

ADMISSIONS

Children may start from the age of 2, on a date mutually arranged with the leader. A visit beforehand is recommended.

FEES

8:30 – 11am - £11.25 (From 2 years of age, no wraparound)

11:30 - 3pm - £17.50 (Ysgol Bro Teyrnon wrap round children)

11:30 - 3pm - £15.75 (From 2 years of age, no wraparound)

20p a session snack money.

SESSIONS

School term time only

Monday – Friday 8:30 – 11:00am

Monday - Friday 11:30 – 3:00pm - Children to bring packed lunch. Children who attend the school nursery in the morning will be collected and brought to the Cylch room (which is within Ysgol Bro Teyrnon).
