Flourish.Cymru@YGG Tonyrefail is a Welsh medium Wrap-Around Care service for children attending the morning session at the nursery unit at YGG Tonyrefail. Children can attend this service from the age of 3 years until they continue into full time education at YGG Tonyrefail. 

We also offer an extended After School Care service and Easter and  Summer Holiday Club for all children who attend the school.

We operate the service from a classroom adjacent to the nursery unit, which allows a smooth transition from one setting to another and allows staff to work in close partnership. The facilities at the building allow us to provide high quality care for up to 16 children per session. The ratio for this setting is 1:8 (adult:children).

At our settings we utilise the key principles of the Foundation Phase Framework and adapt to infuse the rich knowledge imparted on us by our wider health and wellbeing team.
