Beach Babies at Mumbles Pier Fridays

By Baby Love Groups

Beach Babies is a fun packed outdoor exploratory play based session, (weather permitting), overflowing with music, marching, creative and messy activities related to seasons and topics.  It is a wonderful bridge between playgroups and nursery school.  We start each session with free play and social activities, from here we move through to our tidy up time followed by our infamous marching and dancing with music, then on to our beach activities.  These are based on nature and the seasons, they incorporate art, physical, sensory and messy play.  Each session finishes off with a snack activity, (due to covid-19 this currently consists of tasting and exploring different pre-packed snacks rather than making snacks) and finally we have our chill out bubbles.;-)Babylove Hub at Mumbles Pier

Beach baby attendees instructions

Each ticket entitles one adult to bring their baby/twins to the sessions,  currently we can accept one adult per child due to covid-19 restrictions.*

We can get a little bit sandy, sticky, paint covered and messy ;-) so always recommend wearing old clothes and bringing your little one a change of clothes.  We try to go out each week, even if just for 2 minutes to jump in puddles so appropriate outside gear is also a great idea.

To ensure we are keeping everyone Safe, please be mindful of the following procedures;

BEFORE EACH SESSION

Upon arrival each adult will be asked to;

·       Check in at the babylove reception desk

·       confirm they and their little ones feel well and are not displaying any of the following symptoms;

o   a high temperature: this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature, however I will ensure there is a thermometer available)

o   a new, continuous cough: this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

o   a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste: this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Most people with coronavirus have at least one of these symptoms.” (Gov.wales)

·       Place pushchairs safely and remove shoes

·       Apply hand sanitiser

Ticket details

Each ticket entitles one adult to bring their baby/twins to the sessions. I’d recommend wearing comfortable clothes which you are happy to get painty and messy so! We can only accept siblings by prior arrangement due to number allowed in the room at any one time. Once again Beach Babies, clothes,  I would suggest old clothes, waterproof coats and wellies and a change of clothes, just in case!! Lol!

(*To ensure that all needs are catered for, if you have a special request to enable you to attend our classes, please email me so I can work hard to accommodate you).
