Messaging Your Setting


Two-Way Communication

Wootzoo provides secure two-way messaging between you and your child's setting. You can send messages and receive replies directly through the platform.

Sending a Message

To message your setting:

  1. Go to your child's setting page or your messages section
  2. Click the "Message" button
  3. Type your message and send

Your setting will be notified of your message and can reply directly.

What to Use Messaging For

  • Notifying the setting about absences or late arrivals
  • Asking questions about your child's day
  • Sharing important information (e.g., "Grandma is picking up today")
  • Discussing any concerns
  • General communication with staff
For emergencies: Please phone the setting directly rather than relying on messages for urgent matters.

Message Notifications

When you receive a reply, you'll be notified via:

  • Push notification on your phone
  • Email notification
  • In-app notification (the bell icon)

You can adjust your notification preferences in your account settings.

Message History

All your messages are saved in your account. You can view your complete conversation history with each setting at any time.
