Wootzoo sends you notifications when your nursery or setting records an update for your child — such as a nappy change, meal, sleep, or a new photo. Notifications appear in two places:
Push notifications require your permission and rely on your device being registered with the app. If push notifications stop working, the fix is usually straightforward.
Push notifications can stop working after you change phone, reinstall the app, or if your device's notification permissions were reset. The fix is to clear the app data on your phone, which prompts Wootzoo to re-register your device.
Each parent needs their own Wootzoo account linked to your child's profile. If one parent is receiving notifications but the other isn't, contact your nursery or setting and ask them to check that both accounts are connected to your child's profile.
Once linked, each parent should follow the steps above to ensure their device is registered for push notifications.
If you've accepted the prompt but push notifications still don't arrive, check your phone's notification settings to make sure they haven't been blocked at the device level:
If you're still having trouble after following these steps, please contact your nursery and they can raise it with us directly.
