Getting Started
Welcome to Wootzoo. This guide helps you set up your account, connect to your child's nursery or club, and get the most out of the app.
Creating Your Account
You'll receive an invitation email from your nursery or setting with a link to register. Click the link and:
- Enter your name, email address and a password.
- Add your child's details - name, date of birth, any medical or dietary information.
- Go to the setting's profile page and click Register: this sends a registration request to the nursery.
- The nursery reviews and approves your request. Once approved, your account is fully connected and you'll have access to your child's feed, reports and invoices.
If you didn't receive an invitation, ask your nursery to send you one, or register at wootzoo.com and search for your setting.
Installing the App
Wootzoo is a Progressive Web App (PWA) - you install it directly from your browser, no app store needed.
- Android: Open wootzoo.com in Chrome. Tap the menu and select Add to Home Screen.
- iPhone/iPad: Open wootzoo.com in Safari. Tap the Share icon and select Add to Home Screen.
Once installed, Wootzoo works like a native app, including push notifications.
Your Dashboard
After logging in you'll see your dashboard with:
- Daily Feed: updates, photos and messages from your child's setting
- Daily Reports: sleep, meals, nappies and other records added by staff
- Invoices: outstanding and paid invoices from your nursery
- Messages: direct conversation with your nursery
Adding a Second Child
If you have more than one child at the same setting, go to Profile → Add Child and link your second child. If the nursery has already added them, ask your setting to send you an invite to connect.
Updating Your Profile
Keep your contact details and your child's medical/dietary information up to date under Profile → Edit. Your nursery can see this information, so accurate records help them look after your child well.
