Day-to-Day Reporting

Staff

Day-to-day (ADL) reporting lets you record what each child has eaten, how long they slept, nappy changes, activities and accidents. Parents can see these reports in their app.

Recording a Report

  1. Go to Day-to-Day from the menu, or open the child's profile and tap Add Report.
  2. Select the report type: Meal, Sleep, Nappy/Toilet, Activity, or Accident.
  3. Fill in the relevant details (time, duration, amount, notes).
  4. Save - the parent is notified and can see the report in their feed.

Meals

Record what the child ate, how much (good / average / little), and any notes. If the setting has a food menu, it may pre-populate the meal options.

Sleep

Record the start and end time of a nap, plus optional notes. Duration is calculated automatically.

Nappy / Toilet

Record the type (wet, dirty, or both) and time. Use the nappy change option for babies, or the toilet visit option for older children. The "accident" option is available if needed - it uses a neutral icon rather than a sad face.

Accidents

The accident report records the time, nature of the incident, first aid given, and whether parents were informed. You can attach a photo if needed. This creates a formal record that can be retrieved later.

Bulk Reporting

Some report types can be applied to multiple children at once - useful for recording group meals or activities. Use the Multi-update option where available.
