Activities & Bookings
Wootzoo lets you create public-facing activities and events that parents can book and pay for online. Activities can be one-off or repeating, with flexible ticket types and pricing.
Creating an Activity
- Go to Activities → Create Activity.
- Enter a title, description, date/time and location.
- Set the booking type: standard booking, variable ticket types (e.g. adult/child), or time slots.
- Set the price and maximum capacity.
- Optionally add a discount code for promotional pricing.
- Publish - the activity appears on your public page and can be shared via link or QR code.
Repeat Activities
For weekly or term-time classes, use Repeat Activity to generate multiple dates from a single template. You can configure the activity to skip holiday dates and/or weekends automatically.
Managing Bookings
View all bookings for an activity under Bookings → [Activity Name]. You can:
- See who has booked and their payment status
- Add a booking on behalf of a parent
- Cancel individual bookings
- Export the booking list
- Toggle the "Hide cancellations" view
Provider-side Booking for Parents
You can create a booking on a registered parent's behalf - useful when parents call or message to book in. Go to Bookings → Add Booking and select the parent and activity.
Multi-sibling Booking
Parents can book multiple children in a single flow, paying for all at once. This is available for standard booking types.
Nearby Activities
Your public activity page shows nearby activities from other Wootzoo providers. Only upcoming (future) activities are shown in this section.
